Robert Haber, M.D., specializes in the practice of hair restoration surgery and is a Board Certified Dermatologist. He is today recognized internationally as one of the finest hair transplant surgeons of his generation.

In 1995, the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery honored him with its first Award of Excellence in recognition of his innovative techniques. In 1998, the Hair Transplant Forum International recognized him as Surgeon of the Month, an honor given to only six surgeons in the world each year.

In 2001, Northern Ohio Live Magazine voted Dr. Haber one of Ohio's Top Doctors and the Italian Society of Hair Surgery awarded Dr. Haber the Archimedes Prize in 2001 and the Michelangelo Award in 2002. Locally, his techniques and successful results are featured on television as well as in The Plain Dealer.

He is a full time faculty member of the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and on staff at University Hospitals of Cleveland. These affiliations require Dr. Haber to maintain the highest levels of surgical skills and ethics.

Dr. Haber is strongly committed to the education and training of other surgeons. He collaborated as the co-author of the textbook "Hair Replacement-Surgical and Medical" (Mosby Publishing Company, 1996).

Beginning as well as advanced surgeons from around the world use this text as a teaching tool to upgrade their techniques and provide the most advanced procedures for their patients.

Dr. Haber was elected President of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery for 2002-2003, and was selected as the Program Chairman for the Society's Annual Meeting held in Barcelona, Spain in October 1997. This is the largest organization of hair surgeons in the world, and Dr. Haber is the youngest surgeon ever selected to serve in these capacities.

Dr. Haber has been invited to speak about and teach his surgical techniques throughout the United States, and internationally in Canada, Italy, Spain, Mexico, France, England, and Germany. His patients come primarily from the Cleveland area in Ohio, but include patients from a variety of locations elsewhere in the United States, as well as Europe and the Middle East.
