Dr. Scott F. Alexander is dedicated exclusively to holistically treating hair loss in both men and women.  He performs all microscopically prepared ultra refined follicular unit grafting using the lateral slit technique for placement.

Dr. Alexander carefully creates all the incisions for these refined follicular unit grafts using very tiny custom cut blades. By carefully controling the angle and direction of these incisions he creates a very natural pattern and direction for the new hair, even in the temple and sides.

The special instruments he uses create tiny and minimally invasive incisions that enable very small grafts to be placed close together. This enables his patients to achieve cosmetic density in a given area after only one surgical session.  

He performs all his free consultations personally to help his patients evaluate all their treatment options.

Dr. Alexander is the founder and medical director of Biltmore Surgical Hair Restoration located in Phoenix, Arizona.  He is a fourth generation Arizona native who grew up in Phoenix.  He attended Brigham Young University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in art and design.

Dr. Alexander’s residency training was in general surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.  He has always been very interested in art with great ability in that area. Being very meticulous with a drive for perfection, he has sought out the best techniques and mastered them.

Dr. Alexander invested time in New York with Dr. Alan Feller learning follicular unit extractions or FUE.  Dr. Feller is a leader in performing and teaching the FUE procedure and has developed important techniques and instruments for performing this surgery.

Dr. Alexander is a member of The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.  He is also a member of The American Board of Hair Transplant Surgery and The International Society of Follicular Unit Extraction Surgeons.
