Dr. Alan S. Feller, D.O. has specialized in Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) since its early inception in 1994; and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) since its introduction in the U.S. in 2002.
He was born, raised, attended medical school, and practices in New York. Dr. Feller entered the field of hair transplantation shortly after receiving his medical credentials from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine at New York Institute of Technology. He is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) since 1995 and has been a featured guest lecturer at ISHRS meetings. He has also authored published academic papers on the topic of hair transplantation as well as tissue regeneration. He is also an inventor of newly patented instrumentation and protocols for the hair transplant field.
Through the years, Dr. Feller has trained several physicians from both the U.S. and abroad in the intricacies of modern hair transplantation techniques. He continues to offer professional seminars and workshops to physicians and their technicians in his Great Neck office. |
