Dr. Tessler and his staff are truly first rate from start to finish – from the careful removal and closure of the donor area to the meticulous microscopic trimming and handling and careful placement. Dr. Tessler carefully creates all the incisions for these refined follicular unit grafts using very tiny custom cut blades.

Martin E. Tessler, M.D., & Associates subscribes to a strict code of ethical medical standards in the performance of hair replacement surgery. Dr. Tessler received his medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1967. He completed a surgical internship at Detroit's Harper Hospital and interrupted a surgical residency there to serve in the U.S. Army as an orthopedic surgeon during the Vietnam war in 1969 and 1970.

Dr. Tessler completed his Dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit in 1974. He is board certified in dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
